 Hey everybody we had a great time at the Wheels of Steel car show in Jackson yesterday.We saw a lot of different cars and got to see a couple of people that we had met before at other car shows,but mercy it was hot! And we got to outrun a storm just as the show was over but we didnt get wet at all.And it was a fun drive there with five mustangs in a line rumbling up the road! Eddie and Cathy,Adam,Randy(and his daughter),Donnie and Val and me (Greg) and Gayla took this trip.and the winners are!
Eddie and Cathy Conley-top 10 Randy Abbott-top 10 Greg Flora-top 10 Congratulations everyone! The other half of the Freedom Mustangs gang went to the show at tri state greyhound park Saturday and Frankie Mcknight brought a trophy home from there! congratulations Frankie! That brings Freedom Mustangs trophy talley total to 21 shows and 59 trophys!! yee haa looks like a reasonable goal would be 100 trophies for the season dont you think? |

Looks like were going to the Wheels of Steel carshow in Jackson,Ohio this Saturday its put on by Rodders Car Club,its a classed show I think there will 10 trophies for our class 82 awards in all.reg fee is 10.00 and registration starts at 9:00...We are going to meet at Advanced Auto on 29th street and pull out at 7:30 anyone is welcome,hope to see you there!!! Freedom Mustangs also went to the car show at the Mcdonalds in Grayson this past weekend and cleaned house again! the winners were Jimi Eplion-top 10 Jerry and Julie Love-top 10 Matt "the marauder" Cook-top 10 Adam P-top 10 and Eddie and Cathy Conley " Best late model" !! Way to git-r-dun guys! Also we will be ordering shirts in about a week if you would like any just let Donnie or me know and we will take care of it( we have to pay for the shirts at the time we pick them up so we will need the money up front.. thanks) |

Hey everyone looks like were going to the hotdog festival in huntington Saturday registration is 9:00 a.m. so we are going to meet in the parking lot across from Marshall on 3rd avenue between 16th and 17th street at 8:15 then we can drive straight in together as far as I know they are going to block off 3rd avenue again and park us in the street like last year.hope to see you all there! I also heard that Jimi went to a show this past Sunday and won "best of show" and got a really big trophy I hear it is going to be named "Sluggo II" way to go Jimi!! |

Hey everyone,just wanted to let everyone know that Bert Wolfe Ford is opening up an all mustang sales and service center,Ive heard that they will also have performance parts (info courtesy of Donnie,Dwayne and Frankie) anyway this Friday from 4 to 8 Ford Corporate will be there to kick off this new facility. Bert Wolfe has asked all Mustangers in the area to come out and Support them,they are going to rope off a place to park our cars and they are going to have food and take pictures of our cars.Thats all the info that we have at the moment,we are going to leave around 3:00 Friday anyone who wants to come with us let me know and we will arrange a meeting place. I also wanted to mention that Rick Polling (AJ Foyt Coyote Mustang) went to a show in Marietta Saturday and won "Best of Show" way to go Rick! It didnt surprise me that is one Bad Mustang!! |

And the results of the hot dog festival are Donnie and Val Wheeler first place! Matt "the marauder" Cook takes second! and Jerry and Julie Love takes third! Freedom mustangs sweeps the hot dog festival in the 85 to present class! way to go everyone!We had a really good time today, there were lots of spectators who really seemed to appreciate our cars.and other than a couple of showers to work through it couldnt have been better. Freedom mustangs have now went to 18 shows and brought home 50 trophies!! we are having a stellar season so far! And Frankie showed up today with his new 2010 grabber blue stang,good looking car Frankie Check out all of the pictures under the photos tab (and there is a bunch) to see what we have been up to. |

Hey everyone 6 of us went to the Bert Wolfe mustang shop Friday,we had a good time there were about 15 mustangs there we met some new people who may be joining us in the future.Cliff at Bert Wolfe is going to keep in touch with us to keep us updated on anything else that will be happening there and he took pictures of our cars and is going to frame them and hang them on the "wall of fame" at the mustang shop.We had a little precipitation (unheard of around here huh?) and they let us pull our ponies in the barn(service center) until it was over.We have a lot more pictures and video under the photos tab..we took a ride in Joels supercharged stang and I video taped it be sure to watch it was a rush yee haa!!! |
